We’re going deep in the archives to pull out today’s show, one of our first (and favorite!) interviews. Julie Kagawa oozes awesome, just listen and we’re sure you’ll agree.

Book Deal and Publishing Talk with Lindsay Cummings

We are thrilled to have a dear friend with us today, Lindsay Cummings!!!! If you haven’t heard, she just signed a two-book deal with Greenwillow, a Harper imprint. Her first book, The Murder Complex sounds heart-pounding good and should release 2013!

We talk about The Murder Complex, her publishing journey, her favorite books to read, #TeamDauntless, Teen Shiver and MORE!! She may have also said of us, and we quote, “y’all are beautiful, fabulous and young!!” This is one of many reasons why we love her!

We’re talking The Hunger Games movie

That’s right people; we’re giving you our two-cents on the most anticipated book-to-movie adaption for 2012.

We couldn’t be more excited, 2012 is shaping up to be a great year for film adaptations of books. Of course, we are all eagerly waiting The Hunger Games and Breaking Dawn part 2; others include The Perks of Being a Wallflower, The Hobbit, Dog Days (Diary of a Wimpy Kid) plus many more.

Y’all, we interviewed Simone “freaking” Elkeles!!! *jumps up and down* Give me a sec, regaining my composure…

Simone is awesome. We wanted to talk to her forever and then have drinks because somehow we think it would be non-stop laughs with her if we had said drinks, but we had to let her go (sigh) so she could go work on edits for CHAIN REACTION.
