molly mcadamsMolly McAdams grew up in California but now lives in the oh-so-amazing state of Texas with her husband and furry daughter. Her hobbies include hiking, snowboarding, traveling and long walks on the beach…which roughly translates to being a homebody with her hubby and dishing out movie quotes. When she’s not at work, she can be found hiding out in her bedroom surrounded by her laptop, cell, Kindle and fighting over the TV remote. She has a weakness for crude-humored movies, fried pickles and loves curling up in a fluffy comforter during a thunderstorm…or under one in a bathtub if there are tornados. That way she can pretend they aren’t really happening.

Molly is the author of Taking Chances and From Ashes.

You can find Molly on FacebookTwitter, and on Goodreads.

I’m just starting to think New YA is sexier than YA.

  2. laura says:

I already have both of these books and i loved them. Taking Chances made me cry so much!

  3. Veronica says:

Honestly I have no idea. I keep seeing it everywhere but everyone uses the term differently. So I don’t know lol

  4. Erika says:

It has more mature content and is steamier than YA! Love it! Thanks for the chance to win!

  5. Sarah says:

So happy to have found your books! Looking forward to them.

New Adult to me encompasses that time in life when you’ve completed all the schooling thst is ecpected of you and you’ve officially grown-up in the eyes of the world. You’re independent and functioning as such. You are finally “living”. It’s new and exciting and there’s so much to experience!

  6. Tiffany says:

I’m really curious to see what NA is all about. I think I wrote one (albeit a stinky one that’ll never see the light of day) back in college? Would love to win these!

  7. Rachel says:

NA, of what i know, is a genre of book for younger adults, or older teens, that prepare them for adulthood

  8. Susan Light says:

A little more sex than permissible for the high school set.

  9. April says:

    Excited to read these books!

  10. Liza says:

I hope that MY doesn’t turn into a genre that’s all about more graphic sex scenes. What I hope this category does is reach older YA going off to college and into their twenties. Relationships, sexuality, education, friendships, jobs, health are different for MY. Lately, there have been quite a few “sexier” books that have been labeled MY. I get that, but it would be really sad if that’s all that this genre is about. I recently read ME BEFORE YOU – #17 on the NYTBSL. It’s incredible – unforgettable. The MC is 26 years old and dealing with issues appropriate for someone of that age group. The publisher labeled it as 18+. To me, that MY.
