Super cool info:
Did you know that this cover was designed by blogger and designer, Jeremy West? It was and we’re dancing in our mom jeans, we couldn’t be happier for him and this cover!
Synopsis Part 2:
At first, Elysian Fields, with its beautiful houses and manicured lawns, is perfect. Teo Richardson, the older man who stole Cheyenne’s heart, built it so they could be together. But when Teo tells Cheyenne there are tests that she and seven other couples must pass to be worthy of salvation, Cheyenne begins to question the perfection of his world.
Cover Piece #2:
Interview with Mary Gray:
Your book contains tragic and famous literary couples. Are we talking Romeo and Juliet, or Gatsby and Daisy? Who are some of the people we may be meeting?
Okay, these are the seven couples:
Haha. Just kidding.
I can’t tell you them! That would ruin all the fun. How else am I going to get you to read my book? But I’ll stare and pause and tip my head sideways at the names Romeo and Juliet. Romeo and Juliet. Hmm. Those would be a fun couple to represent.
Is this is a stand-alone, or does it have a potential to be more?
The Dollhouse Asylum is a standalone, but I’m working on an a novella based on one of the other characters right now. We’ll see if it pans out.
Mary Gray has a fascination with all things creepy. That’s why all her favorite stories usually involve panic attacks and hyperventilating. In real life, she prefers to type away on her computer, ogle over her favorite TV shows, and savor fiction. When she’s not immersed in other worlds, she and her husband get their exercise by chasing after their three children. The Dollhouse Asylum is her first novel.
The Dollhouse Asylum is Mary Gray’s first novel and will be released October 2013 from Spencer Hill Press.
Be sure to follow Mary Gray on Twitter and her website to keep up to date with her and The Dollhouse Asylum! Be sure to also add this book to your Goodreads and share it with your friends! You don’t want to miss this one!
