Girl Prattle: reading everything even vanity tags
Hi. It is late and I am working while watching things I have DVR’d all year long on my TV. I mayyyyy have been watching TV more than working within the past half hour. I can’t get enough of the Big Bang Theory. It’s just plain old funny. Laugh out loud funny. However, that is not the only reason I decided I wanted to prattle a bit.
I wanted to know if I am the only one who pauses the TV at the end of the credits to see the Chuck Lorre Productions vanity tag? I think that is what they are called. I love them!! I love to read what Chuck has to say as he puts a little note at the end of each show just for me. I don’t always agree with what he says, but heck, I don’t always agree with what my best friends say either. I beg you not to tell them. Even though I think that I am the strong, opinionated one, I really couldn’t stand up to them if the united.
BTW, am I the only one who doesn’t watch the Charlie Sheen show, Two and a Half Men? It’s not that I haven’t seen a show or two. Seriously, it is not good nor funny. Maybe it is because I am a mother in her thirties? I DO NOT understand how it is always in the top 20 of shows for the week. Really? UGH! Although, I do like when the show I tape comes after it as I get to see the vanity plate at the end of that show also. YAY!
I guess it is the small things that count. The small, funny things.

You’re not alone – I don’t think Two & A Half Men is funny either. I could never get into the show even though a lot of my friends and family watch it. But I do LOVE Big Bang Theory!
NO WAY? I watched four episodes of The Big Bang Theory last night and was laughing way to loud! I thought about pausing to read the vanity tag, but wanted to watch the next episode instead.
HATE Thow & a Half Men, think it is dumb, too much sex and sex talk for me.

I definitely watch too much TV when I should be writing or reading! And Big Bang Theory always, ALWAYS makes me laugh, even though I thought it wouldn’t be my kind of show. Definitely worth your time

@Meredith – I DVR WAY TOO much TV!! I watch until the wee hours of the morning as I usually can’t watch what I want until the kids go to bed. Even Glee is too mature. But, I am secretly (not so secret anymore) addicted to all things Disney and Nick. haha
iCarly is a total FAV that I watch with my kids. Not to mention, Wizards of Waverly Place, Victorious, Hannah Montana, Ben Ten alien Force, and Generator Rex.
Have you watched Parks and Rec? LOVE THAT SHOW! So you think you can dance? True Blood?
Why am I telling you all of this? I don’t know. I guess anyone who love BBT is a friend of mine and I wanted to talk TV with a friend. With that, I bid you farewell.

No, I don’t watch Two & a Half men. I have never thought it was funny. Charlie Sheen is not funny.
Anyway, I know you guys read mainly YA, but if you want a funny series, you should check out the Magic Kingdom: Landover series by Terry Brooks. He just released a new one that was pretty good.
