Love the Twilight list!!! I may even have one to add from my Eclipse experience. Thirty year old women(e.g. me) will get funny looks from said tweens if you have a shirt with Edward’s face on it. Love you guys!

* Twilight is good, but Twilight candy is not.
- TOTALLY TRUE! As a joke, I got New Moon SweetTarts to take to the movie – I went with 4 girlfriends – and they were NASTY! I mean: NASTY!!!!!!!

* Werewolves are hot.
- When they’re in their human form, amirite?

* That no matter how meaningful it is, Renesmee is just a terrible name.
- I hafta agree!

* calling someone “spider monkey” is not sexy.
- Yes! Haha! Did you watch the MTV movie awards? The host said something about that and it was funny. Also, he talks about the “cliffhanger” at the end of (the movie) New Moon… He said, “We all know she says yes!!! That’s *NOT* a cliffhanger!!!”

* … And then you just sit there and dream about Edward, wipe your tears, and decide you can’t let the feeling go…
- I imagine this is how Stephenie feels! So she wrote the Bree book – and hopefully more to come!

Very nice ladies! Werewolves are hot! Doesnt matter the book, I always seem to go for the Were. It helps when I get to look at Taylor during the movie too

@Shari–skim until Edward enters. That’s where the action picks up. In the 2nd book skim again. Bella is whiny. I love the love triangle. On a funny sidenote, I was driving down I5 on saturday and the school they used for Forks High in Twilight was just off the road. We had to stop for a photo op. We met the principal. He said he was an extra in the movie. He was the PE teacher in the gym scene.

@Shannan–you are my friend forever! I’m loving discussing books with someone who shares the same interest. I just finished the Secret Life of Bree. . .

Interesting read. Now I’m wondering if we’ll see Fred in the future. I liked his character. Now I’m going to recognize these newborns in the movie. Those Voluturi are slippery. I always knew that. Why were there no chapter breaks? When I figured out that, I could finally take a break.

I have yet to read the books but I saw one of the movies with friends and just from keeping up with all the media hype I was able to love your list! Y’all are awesome! And don’t hate for not reading the books yet, it’s just my kids aren’t old enough to slack on the mom duties. I do plan on reading them.

I loved your comment! It’s so funny and true. My husband won’t read the books either but I doubt he would like them. He has sat down next to me on the couch and watched the movies though. He makes it seem so casual when he walks into the gameroom 5 min. after the movie has started. But I know he is curious to see what has me so crazy as to own a Team Edward shirt and wear it out!! God bless our husbands who we compare to fictional characters!!

I loved Twilight. I can’t explain why. I’m embarrassed to admit it. My husband has never read it. Won’t read it. Hasn’t seen the movies but he loves discussing it with people by using things he has overheard me say.

I loved that you said that the books are good but the candy is not. Absolutely!

It’s not the best written book. I doubt they will be studying it in lit class 20 years from now but I’m sure people will still be reading it. I’m sure I’ll read it again. Eclipse is my favorite book in the series. I would really like to see her write an alternate ending where Jacob goes off and experiences life as a wolf.

I was team Edward before the movie and now I have to say I’m team Taylor. Nice! Renesmee is a very stupid name. I guarantee there are people out there naming their children that. (poor kids.)

I met Stephenie at a book signing and there were a bunch of people with their babies named Bella in attendance. They wanted Stephenie to know how the books put them “in the mood.”

Spider Monkey is almost as bad as Renesmee. I can’t help but laugh at that point in the movie too. Also, he is so obviously on a wire.

Here’s a tip: the best way to see a new Twilight movie? The morning matinee after the midnight opening. It’s like having a private screening. NICE!

*sigh* I love Twilight so. I wanted nothing to do with it. A friend of mine from Oregon bought me Twilight and mailed it to me. My first thought was, “great, now I have to read this stupid book”. DEVOURED it. REad all four in a week and did no house work either! LOL. Twilight is what got me into reading YA. It’s what made me work toward my childhood dream of writing for teens. I’m getting all sentimental here. LOL. But I have so many friends because of TWilight an SO many experiences I wouldn’t have had. I’m a small town Oregon girl who moved to Southern California and felt out of water. Now I’m going to MTV shows where the cast is, camping out for red carpet premieres, the whole nine yards. Love it!

And Edward… I love him. Rob… yeah, love him too!
